Also, Alexandraerin has posted here asking for people with experience in talking to and counseling rape survivors to get in touch with her and with Jack/Moofable. If anyone here feels they have the relevant experience, please give her a shout; I'm sure the show of support would be welcome for them right now.

Given the subject matter, and the notoriety of some of the people involved, I am going to take the step of screening comments for this post. It's not something I usually do, but I don't want to take the chance of someone leaving something horribly transphobic or triggery or whatever in the comments while I'm at work and can't delete it right away. Not that I really think it's going to happen, but. You never know. The rest of you, if you choose to comment, I'll try to unscreen promptly. Anon comments are still and always will be okay.

The story itself follows chronologically from Let My Walls Come Down, but all you really need to know about that fic is that it takes place post-prom, Kurt and Blaine have a hotel room, and there's sex.

Please do heed the warnings on this fic -- the worst of it takes place offscreen, but still.

You know, a few years ago I wasn't even into this fandom thing. I did a little playing around with Charlie's Angels stuff (mostly because of Crispin Glover), and wrote two chapters of a Harry Potter parody that never got finished. Then someone got me into Torchwood fic and then I started joining communities and writing things and shipping, for pity's sake, and now I just...

I should be doing things today. I should be crocheting and sewing and baking and cleaning while I'm on vacation. Instead, I'm plundering Glee communities for Mike/Tina goodness, because once you get into fannishness and shippy business, you will never, ever recover.

Also, because Mike and Tina are adorable, and because Artie's "I was playing a marathon game of Halo, woman!" line reminded me uncomfortably of guys that I have known and despaired over. No wonder Tina bailed.
